Extensive menu knowledge and an understanding of wine pairings are essential in this role, as you’ll be expected to deliver a level of service that goes above and beyond traditional dining expectations.Supporting the service team, our VIP Runners play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of each course. They work seamlessly alongside front-of-house staff to serve dishes promptly and clear tables efficiently, contributing to the overall flow and success of the dining experience.As a VIP Wine Waiter, your expertise in the art of wine selection, presentation, and service will be paramount. You’ll be responsible for curating the perfect wine pairings to complement each meal, elevating the overall dining experience and creating a sophisticated atmosphere that delights our high-profile guests. Your deep knowledge of wines will be key to enhancing the enjoyment of every guest.Our Bartenders and Baristas are essential to crafting and serving exceptional drinks, whether welcoming guests upon arrival or throughout the day. From carefully prepared cocktails to expertly brewed coffees, you’ll tailor each beverage to the unique preferences and expectations of our distinguished clientele.Finally, our VIP Cashier plays a critical role in ensuring smooth, discreet, and efficient financial transactions. National Theatre Food and Drink

Administrator Location: National TheatreReporting to: Head of Events and Executive ChefWorking Closely With: Events Dept, Kitchen Team, Warehouse Dept.Contract: 30 hours per week – 6 months. Come and Work with the BestNational Theatre Food &amp; Drink is a unique partnership between the NT, Levy UK&amp;I and KERB. Together we are creating a world-class food and drink destination embedded within the heart of the NT’s operations, ensuring all public-facing venues, as well as internal hospitality and commercial events, support the NT’s overall vision, values, and culture. The NT actively sought to not outsource the catering operation and chose instead to stay actively involved through constructing this new partnership. This ensures F&amp;D and theatre specialism combine to offer the best experience for our customers. Role PurposeThis role is responsible for managing essential administrative tasks across both the Events Department and Kitchen Department. It requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, enabling our teams to delivery the very best to our clients. Duties and Responsibilities · Liaise with internal departments to ensure a smooth flow of information.· Assist chefs to accurately input the stock take and maintain the stock take system.· Place food orders on foodbuy and raise accurate purchase orders for all events· Build recipe cards for both costing purposes and photo specs.· Maintain goods receipt file to ensure deliveries match purchase.· Build chef planners in line with the required budget under the direction of the Head Chef, ensuring these are submitted in a timely manner.· Liaise with Event department to ensure accurate client numbers are provided to the chef for efficient food production.· Ensure menus are accurately typed in the appropriate format as directed by the Head Chef &amp; prepare menu packs for the event folders.· Maintain event orders board, ensuring all updates are captured and communicated.· Make sure all ISO paperwork is up to date and filled in correctly by the chefs.· Carry out all general administration tasks and organize the day-to-day running of the chef’s office.· Diplomatically liaise between staff, managers, and suppliers to resolve queries.· Update Events payment tracker and update with finance.· Provide comprehensive analysis for season packages.· Ensure all Event trackers and reports are updated and accurate.· Create signage including menus.· Ensure till tabs are set up for each event.· Assist with room booker requirements.· Support with supplies orders such as linen, equipment, furniture etc· Update cost summaries, payment trackers and partnership trackers. The Ideal Candidate Will Be · Engaging, flexible and friendly in manner.· Good communication skills, including tact and diplomacy.· Excellent attention to detail· Ability to take direction, and to work towards and meet deadlines.· Ability to remain calm during periods of high volume or unusual events, whilst remaining driven to complete your tasks.· Strong IT and administrative skills· Confidence when meeting and interacting with people.· Flexible to work evenings and weekends during peak event times.
