If so, we want to hear from you! We are looking for highly motivated and experienced Bar Team Leader's.


Key Responsibilities


Team Leadership

  • Lead, motivate and manage a bar team of 15-30 staff members, to ensure high levels of morale, productivity, and teamwork.
  • Provide Training and support to new team members and ongoing coaching to current staff.
  • Conduct Team briefings and assign tasks to ensure smooth operation.


Customer Service

  • Ensure customers receive high-quality service, handling any complaints or queries promptly and professionally.
  • Promote a welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.


Bar Operations

  • Possess knowledge of keg rooms, beer gas and keg changing.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, ensuring the bar is always clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Be able to close the bar ensuring all stock is counted and secured & Bar is cleaned and stocked for next match when required.


Stock Management

  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring the bar is always well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Efficiency in stock control and ensuring that stock usage matches takings. Stocks must be submitted and balanced every matchday.


Sales & Promotions

  • Assist in developing and promoting new products, seasonal offerings, and special promotions.
  • Maximize sales by up selling, making product recommendations, and driving promotions.
  • Handle card payments, ensuring accuracy and security.


Compliance & Health and Safety

  • Ensure the team adheres to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Uphold the bar’s licensing laws and maintain awareness of relevant legislation.
  • Ensure queues are managed and that you are working with security and other stadium staff to ensure efficient queue times for customers.


Required Skills & Qualifications-

  • Experience - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in a bar environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leader role.
  • Leadership Skills- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • Customer Focused- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
  • Attention to Detail- High standards of cleanliness, presentation, and accuracy in all aspects of bar operations. Possess knowledge of keg rooms, beer gas and keg changing.
  • Organizational Skills- Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a busy environment.
  • Compliance Knowledge - Understanding of relevant licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and food hygiene standards.
  • Flexibility to work evenings & weekends.
