Year Round at Wimbledon

The All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) is one of the world’s most iconic sporting venues serving as a private Members Club during 50 weeks of the year and then, for two weeks, hosting The Championships – the world’s premier grass court tennis tournament.

As well as the year-round Members Dining Room offer, throughout the year we also operate a busy meetings and events (M&E) calendar and colleague dinning menu on a daily basis.

The Home of the Championships

Wimbledon is the proud home of The Championships, the largest single annual sporting catering operation carried out in Europe. Hosting up to 42,000 spectators on the grounds at any one time, it is the role of Food & Drink at Wimbledon to provide exceptional food and beverage to all guests. We deliver a diverse operation, offering a multitude of different offerings across both the public and hospitality areas.

In order to cater for The Championships and our year round business, we engage with over 3000 staff on a casual basis in a variety of roles, including Managers, Chefs, Waiting Staff, Bar Staff & Back of House Staff.

The Championships 2024 Live Dates: Monday 1st July – Sunday 14th July 2024.

The Championships Mandatory Training Dates: Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th June 2024.

The key ingredient in making it so special is having amazing people working across the event, both front and back of house, to deliver exceptional, first-class service to our guests”
