Catering Assistant (Kitchen) – The Jockey Club

Main Responsibilities
As a Kitchen Catering Assistant, you will support the smooth running of the kitchen and food service operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
- Supporting chefs with day-to-day kitchen duties
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene
- Washing up and ensuring kitchen equipment and work areas are kept clean and organized
- Stocking, rotating, and replenishing food and kitchen supplies
- Working efficiently as part of a team during busy service periods
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or catering experience is helpful but not essential
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn
Full training will be provided, so no prior experience is required.
