Nestling in the heart of the Sussex countryside, is the world famous Glyndebourne Opera House. With three restaurants, two bars, exclusive private dining rooms and fabulous picnics, our dining department offer high-end catering facilities to compliment this magnificent venue.

We are now recruiting for the Glyndebourne festival season from May to August 2023. During the season we are open for seven days a week and looking for a night Porter to join our team. We are looking for a dedicated and committed back of house person to work from 11pm - 7am.

Successful candidates will be hard working and dedicated with boundless energy and enthusiasm. A can-do attitude is essential, as is the ability to work calmly under pressure.

Efficient, good eye for detail, friendly, energetic, hardworking, ability to take ownership of the pot wash area and maintenance of machinery.

As KP you will be responsible for:

• Cleaning of plates, glasses and cutlery

• Cleaning of Chef preparation

• Ensuring areas are kept clean, clear and safe

• General cleanliness of kitchen area

• Opportunity to assist in basic food preparation
