We're hiring experienced and energetic Bartenders to join our team at The Waterfront Street Kitchen and Bar, a brand-new street food and drink destination at ExCeL London. With a prime waterfront location in the heart of the Royal Docks, this vibrant venue offers a fresh, modern experience for event-goers, locals, and tourists alike.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage with guests, making them feel welcome and valued.
• Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and specialty drinks.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations based on guests’ preferences and the bar’s offerings.
• Ensure that the bar is fully stocked, organized, and clean at all times.
• Accurately process transactions, including handling cash and operating the POS system.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and act in accordance with legal and company guidelines to ensure responsible drinking.
• Assist with the creation of new drink recipes and the development of seasonal or promotional menus.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards behind the bar, including glassware, equipment, and workstations.
• Support other team members during peak times and work collaboratively to ensure a smooth service.
• Handle any guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism and a focus on resolution.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older (due to serving alcohol).
• Previous experience as a bartender role is essential.
• Able to work in flexible shift pattern., including evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
• A willingness to learn and grow within the role.
